Proficiency tests are targeted to help you prepare for your next grading.
During Proficiency Tests, your execution of Aikido techniques is assessed. Your instructors will mark you on what you are doing well, and record how you can do better next time. These test notes will give both you and your Instructors a good indication of your progress leading up to your next grading. Proficiency test results are also considered when establishing your eligibility to grade.
